Itinerary | Nubra Valley Trekking - 6N/7D
Day 1: Leh Arrival & Acclimatization
Arrive in Leh and spend the day adjusting to the high altitude. Explore local markets, monasteries, and soak in the cultural vibe of Ladakh.
Day 2: Leh → Diskit (10,310 ft)
Drive to Diskit, the largest town in Nubra Valley. Visit the iconic Diskit Monastery and the towering Maitreya Buddha statue.
Day 3: Diskit → Hunder (10,550 ft)
Trek towards Hunder through dramatic landscapes, sand dunes, and green valleys. Enjoy the famous double-humped camel ride at Hunder dunes.
Day 4: Hunder → Skarchen (11,050 ft)
Walk through peaceful trails, cross small streams, and witness breathtaking Himalayan views. Overnight camping at Skarchen.
Day 5: Skarchen → Digar La Base Camp (14,370 ft)
Begin your ascent toward Digar La Base Camp. Set up camp against the majestic backdrop of snow-clad peaks.
Day 6: Base Camp → Digar La Pass (16,300 ft) → Base Camp
A challenging but rewarding trek to Digar La Pass. Capture sweeping panoramic views before descending back to camp.
Day 7: Base Camp → Diskit → Leh
Retrace your steps to Diskit and drive back to Leh. End your journey with unforgettable memories of Nubra’s diverse landscapes and culture.
